Favicon is a term that refers to the tiny icon that appears in the internet
address bar next to a website url. To see what I'm talking about, all you need to go to is any major website like google or facebook and
check out the cool icon they have customized to their website! Well this isnt just for huge mega-sites, anyone can have a "favicon". here is how to make
your own...:
all you need is to find or create a 16x16 pixel icon and put this code between the <body> </body>
tags of your layout:
you can also do this by uploading the 16x16 icon to your root folder (where you can see
"index.php" listed) and naming the image favicon.ico which should automatically generate the icon as your favicon on all webpages.
